The set screw is a so called “break-off torque screw”, which comes with a set screw insertion instrument to which the set screw is firmly attached, allowing proper placement and substantially reduces the risk of falling off intra-operatively.

The system is suitable for both open and percutaneous/MIS procedures. When using the appropriate screw design wich is available hereto (page 13), placement of the screw following the so called Bi-Cortical / Mid-line technique is possible.
